Now this tool is a touchy subject to some. Most people over time find a brand of drill they like and NEVER change. They become very brand loyal.

But who could blame them, If a brand builds a good, strong, durable drill, the rest of there products must be pretty good. I know that's how I judge a good brand.

Cordless drills have come a long way, sense the days of the full metal, corded, chucked, craftsman units of your grandfathers day. When cordless first came along, those nicad battery units were fantastic! But todays cordless is a whole other ball game. One charge and you can almost go all day.

Will all need a good Cordless Drill in our tool kit. What brand is best is hard to say. Most are pretty good. You just have to try a few and over time you will find the one you like. I will be reviewing a few I think are real stand outs real soon.

My advise to beginners is again, don't go cheap and worry about price so much. There are a lot of really good ones for less than 50 bucks. But please what ever you buy...get 2 battery's. It sucks when your almost finished with a task and the battery dies and you have to wait for it to charge!
